The Commission on Higher Education (CHED) issued a memorandum order requiring all review centers to form partnerships with schools. It added that non-compliant review centers will be closed down starting November 2007.
The order came after the controversial 2006 nursing licensure examination was marred by cheating with alleged involvement of three nursing review centers identified as R.A. Gapuz Review Center, Inress Review Center and Pentagon Review Specialists.
Two (2) former board of nursing members and seventeen (17) officials of nursing review centers were charged for their involvement in the test leak.
