To the new nurses who just took their oath last week:

Welcome to our world....

NO JOB...AND NO VACANCY EITHER

So you thought this is the best career now? hahahhahahaha

Eh di maghanap ka ng trabaho kung may tatanggap sa yo...NEWLY GRADUATE WITHOUT EXPERIENCE?????

The truth po is totoo ang comment sa taas....THOUSANDS AND THOUSANDS OF FILIPINO NURSES are UNEMPLOYED!!!!

STOP THIS NURSING COURSE MANIA!!!!!!

Andami na natin at wag na madagdagan pa!!!!

Yumayaman lang ang mga nursing schools at review centers...in the end TAYO RIN ANG WALANG NAPAPALA!!!!

now...TELL ME I AM WRONG HERE....

Anyone?

This is a free country. If you're frustrated with how your life is going then deal with it PERSONALLY.

Don't force your ideas on the rest of us.

Some of us took up nursing because we want to take care of our family.

Nursing is not all about going to the US. Stop spreading negative vibes.

To the one ranting about having no job, why not spend your time productively by looking for jobs elsewhere while you wait out the retrogression?

There are a lot of job vacancies for nurses. Visit http://jobsfornurses.blogspot.com/ to see a few.

Negative Vibes???

Am I spreading negative Vibes????

I am very sorry for your pathetic comment!!!

I AM SPREADING THE TRUTH!

Wala po akong intensyon na manira! I respect your decision to take up nursing because you wanted to take care of your family!!

But these millions of prospective nurses wannabeess..do you think they are enrolled in nursing to take care of their parents?????

oH that's PATHETIC!!

They want to go to US!!!! right??

And I just wanna spread the not-so-good news that NO MORE VISA WILL BE GIVEN TO FOREIGN NURSES in the next few years.....

Why not check the blogs and websites on this issues??

Also, I wanna tell the parents that they should really consider this matter very seriously so they will not be frustrated that in the end their children who spent hundreds of thousand pesos in nursing would end up in Call Centers or Home caregivers in the Middle East....

My intention is not to discourage but to AWAKEN the many victims of agencies and review centers here...

Tell your students the truth about US immigration status!

I do believe in KARMA.

C'mon go back to your senses!

The fact still remains that it's not for you to impose.

How would you feel if somebody told you when you were starting nursing school just to forget about everything just because that somebody was not able to get a job that he wanted?

Retrogression did not happen JUST NOW. It's a problem that comes and goes. It happened in the 1990s got lifted and occured again in 2005 got lifted and again now in 2007.

Just because you got to nursing school and got stuck here does not mean that others can't pursue the same dream that you are frustratingly trying to pursue.

Jobs for nurses is correct, why dont you spend your time productively by working instead of telling people what to do with their lives?

Don't be such a know-it-all, we all know about the retrogression. But it shouldn't stop us from doing anything because the last time I checked, this is still a democratic country and so is the U.S. where you are so desperate to go.

and how about you?
...so you're the not-so-desperate-to-go-to-US type of a nurse??
well and good...at least you are a relief to us....
go somewhere....
Kokey's planet perhaps!
Kok-korek-korekok!

ang-OA naman nito...as if you can't look for a job as a nurse in other countries, other than the US...

frustrated ka lang kasi wala ka na yatang direksyon sa buhay mo...you aimed for the US (kasi u passed all the exams for US na nga eh!) tapos ganito ang nangyayari...retrogression...

c'mon, loosen up! there's a lot of options for us nurses...
