PRC Advisory for June 2008 Nursing Board Passers

The records management division of the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announces that requests for verification of the results of the June 2008 Nurse Licensure Examination are now being processed at the PUP-Lepanto gate.

Verification of results is an option for examinees whose names were not included in the list of passers in the nursing board exam.

Meanwhile, requests for Certification of Rating/Passing/Placer will be accepted starting August 4, 2008.

A fee of Php 75.00 will be collected for each certificate. Certifications must be affixed with Metered Documentary Stamps which will be available at the Customer Service Center.

An Express Lane Service will also be set up where certifications will be released within the day subject to the following guidelines:

1. Express Lane shall not allow representatives without proper identification and authorization letter

2. Release of Certification request shall start at:

11:00 AM – for those who filed request from 8:00 AM to 9:30 AM

3:00 PM – for those who filed request from 9:31 AM to 2:00 PM

3. Requests received beyond 2:00 PM shall be released at 8:30 AM of the following day.

4. Certification Fee for Express Lane – P200/copy

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announces that 27,765 out of 64,459 (First Timers, Repeaters, Removals) passed the Nurse Licensure Examination given by the Board of Nursing in the cities of Manila, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legazpi, Lucena, Tacloban, Tuguegarao and Zamboanga last June 2008. The result of examination with respect to one (1) examinee was withheld pending final determination of her liabilities under the rules and regulations governing licensure examinations.

The members of the Board of Nursing are Carmencita M. Abaquin, Chairman; Leonila A. Faire, Betty F. Merritt, Perla G. Po, Marco Antonio C. Sto.Tomas, Yolanda C. Arugay and Amelia B. Rosales.

A Quick Note on the June 2008 Nurse Licensure Examination Results

The last week of July release date for the June 2008 PRC nurse licensure examination is still on track according to the latest available information from the PRC-Board of Nursing website which incidentally went down a few days ago due to heavy internet traffic. It's back online again since yesterday but no new information is posted.

So, hang in there, future nurses. It's just a matter of days and the long wait will soon be over.

The moment the board exam results become available, it will be posted here at Pinoy R.N. and in several other nursing websites.

This blog post will serve as the anchor page for the June 2008 nursing board results. We are posting this anchor page this early so the search engines can index it making the PRC results searchable when it officially becomes available.

In the meantime, here's a nice video to help our future nurse colleagues while the time, relax, and calm those nerves down.

Update on the June 2008 Nurse Licensure Examination Results

We have been getting word that the result of June 2008 nursing board exam is due to be released at the end of the month with the earliest possible release date on July 20, 2008.

This bit of information is still unconfirmed at the moment. Examinees of the June 1 and 2 , 2008 PRC Nursing Licensure Exam are advised to take these rumors with a grain of salt.

However, Pinoy R.N. would like to take this opportunity to encourage those who are waiting for the June 2008 NLE results to prepare their computer by installing in advance a copy of Adobe Reader as the list of nursing passers will likely be released initially in portable document format (.PDF).
