Deadline for Filing of Applications for the July 2011 Nursing Board Exam

Applications for the July 2011 Nursing Board Exam may now be filed at all Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) offices nationwide. This was announced by the PRC recently.

Deadline for filing of applications are as follows:

REPEATERS - APRIL 15, 2011

FIRST-TIMERS - MAY 13, 2011

Nursing board exam applicants are encouraged to submit their applications early as there will be no extensions past the deadlines set.

PRC to Go Online with eServices

Hours of waiting and long lines will soon be a thing of the past at the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) as the regulatory body will soon be utilizing an online system for most of its services.

The initiative is part of President Aquino's 22-point platform and policy pronouncement on labor and employment.

Once established, the public will have online access to the following PRC services:

• Online Verification of Academic Records (OVAR)
• Online Verification of Eligibility System (OVES)
• Online Verification of Room Assignments (OVERA)
• Professional Identification Card Availability Verification (PICAV)
• Online Verification of Registered Professionals (OVRP)
• Online Board Examination Application System (OBEAS)
• Online Renewal Application System (ORAS)
• Online Verification of Rating of Failed Examinee (OVRFE)

The PRC eServices initiative, once completed, will be available in all PRC Regional Offices nationwide.

July 2010 Nursing Board Exam Result Release Schedule

The Professional Regulation Commission - Board of Nursing (BoN) has set the release of the July 2010 Nursing Board Exam Results on the last week of August.

This was announced in the same BoN resolution ordering the re-scheduling of the December 2010 Nurse Licensure Examination to December 19-20, 2010 instead of the original schedule of December 12-13, 2010.

Deadline for filing of application for the December 2010 exam has also been reset to September 28, 2010 for repeater applicants.

Schedule of Nurse Licensure Examinations for the Year 2010

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) has set the schedule of Nursing Board Examinations for the year 2010.

This is in pursuant to Section 7 (d) of Republic Act  8981 or the PRC Modernization Act of 2000, authorizing the body to determine and set the venue and dates of professional licensure examinations in the country.

According to PRC Resolution No. 2009 - 537, the Nursing Board Exams for this year is set on: 

July 3 - 4, 2010 (Saturday and Sunday) 
Application Deadline:
Repeaters - April 14, 2010
First Timers - May 14, 2010


December 12 - 13, 2010 (Sunday and Monday)
Application Deadline:
Repeaters - September 8, 2010
First Timers - October 8, 2010
