Initial Registration Schedule for December 2010 Nurses






To facilitate an orderly registration process for nurses who passed in the December 2010 Nurse Licensure Examination, the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) advises new nurse to observe the following schedule:

Registration Schedule for New Nurses in Manila, Pampanga, and Cebu






The Professional Regulation Commission has released the schedule of registration of new nurses in Manila, Pampanga and Cebu.

New nurses who passed in the July 2010 Nurse Licensure Examination are advised to follow the posted schedule to facilitate an orderly registration process.

Initial registration for new nurses in Baguio starts on September 6, 2010, Monday, at the PRC Baguio Regional Office.

Registration schedule for new nurses in Davao, Bacolod, Iloilo, and other areas will also be posted here once it becomes available.

Successful examinees should personally register and sign the Roster of Registered Professionals. Listed below are the requirements for initial registration:

  • Duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal;
  • 2010 Community Tax (Cedula);
  • Two (2) pieces passport-size pictures (colored with white background and name tag);
  • One (1) piece 1”x1” picture (colored with white background and name tag);
  • One (1) piece documentary stamps;
  • One (1) piece short brown envelope with name and profession;
  • Original and photocopy of NSO Birth Certificate (original copy for presentation purposes only); and
  • Initial Registration Fee of P600.00 and Annual Registration Fee of P450.00 for 2010-2013.

The Professional Identification Card and Certificate of Registration will be issued 3-4 months after the initial registration.

Oathtaking and Registration Instructions for New Nurses






The Professional Regulation Commission reminds new nurses that they are required to bring the following when they register:

  • Duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal, 
  • Current Community Tax Certificate (cedula), 
  • 2 pieces passport size picture (colored with white background and complete name tag), 
  • 1 piece 1” x 1” picture (colored with white background and complete name tag), 
  • 2 sets of metered documentary stamps, and 
  • 1 short brown envelope with name and profession;

Initial Registration Fee of P600 and Annual Registration Fee of P450 for 2010-2013 will also be collected.

Successful examinees should personally register and sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals.

The oathtaking ceremony of new nurses in Manila as well as the previous ones who have not taken their Oath of Professional will be held before the Board on Monday and Tuesday, September 20 and 21, 2010, with morning (8:00 A.M.) and afternoon (1:00 P.M.) sessions at the SMX Convention Center, SM Mall of Asia, Pasay City. All must come in their white gala uniform, nurse’s cap, white duty shoes, without earrings, hair not touching the collar and without corsage .

Oathtaking tickets for the National Capital Region (NCR) and nearby regions will be available at the Philippine Nurses Association (PNA) at 1663 F.T. Benitez Street, Malate, Manila, from September 1 - 20, 2010 on a “first come first serve ” basis.

New nurses in Cebu may begin registering at the Professional Regulation Commission - Cebu Regional Office beginning February 17, 2010.

Oathtaking and Registration Schedule for New Nurses in Baguio






The Professional Regulation Commission - Baguio Regional Office has published the Oathtaking and Initial Registration schedules for Baguio examinees who passed the November 2009 Nursing Board Exams.

Initial registration in Baguio will start on February 4, 2010 with the oathtaking at the CAP building in Camp John Hay on March 12, 2010. Complete details are posted below.

Successful examinees in the November 2009 Nurse Licensure Examination in Manila may begin registering with the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC).

The Professional Regulation Commission will begin accepting registrations for new nurses who passed in the June 2009 Nurse Licensure Examination on August 10, 2009.

To facilitate an orderly registration, successful examinees are advised to observe the following registration schedule:

Those who will register are required to bring the following: duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal, current Community Tax Certificate (cedula), 2 pieces passport size picture (colored with white background and complete name tag), 1 piece 1” x 1” picture (colored with white background and complete name tag), 2 sets of metered documentary stamps, and 1 short brown envelope with name and profession; and to pay the Initial Registration Fee of P600 and Annual Registration Fee of P450 for 2009-2012. This blogger has been getting a lot of e-mail inquiries about the deadline for the filing of application in the November 2008 Nurse Licensure Examinations.

For the benefit of everyone, here are the dates that prospective nursing board examinees should mark in their calendar:


  • October 17, 2008 (Friday) - Deadline for filing of Applications for the November 2008 Nursing Board Exam
  • November 29 - 30, 2008 (Saturday & Sunday) - Examination dates for the November 2008 Nursing Board Exam

The records management division of the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announces that requests for verification of the results of the June 2008 Nurse Licensure Examination are now being processed at the PUP-Lepanto gate.

Verification of results is an option for examinees whose names were not included in the list of passers in the nursing board exam.

Meanwhile, requests for Certification of Rating/Passing/Placer will be accepted starting August 4, 2008.

A fee of Php 75.00 will be collected for each certificate. Certifications must be affixed with Metered Documentary Stamps which will be available at the Customer Service Center.

An Express Lane Service will also be set up where certifications will be released within the day subject to the following guidelines:

1. Express Lane shall not allow representatives without proper identification and authorization letter

2. Release of Certification request shall start at:

11:00 AM – for those who filed request from 8:00 AM to 9:30 AM

3:00 PM – for those who filed request from 9:31 AM to 2:00 PM

3. Requests received beyond 2:00 PM shall be released at 8:30 AM of the following day.

4. Certification Fee for Express Lane – P200/copy
